PECO Building LED "Crown Lighting System" Installation

In the Winter of 2008/2009 and the Spring of 2009, Eastern Sign Tech handled a lighting changeover on the historic PECO building in Philadelphia, PA. The ‘Crown Lighting System’ on the top of the building was changed from an old incandescent system into a modern LED lighting system. This project took over 4 months to complete, with Eastern Sign Tech installing a total of 118, 40’ long vertical LED columns. EST utilized its extensive experience with high-rise & rigging work to complete this project. EST fabricated several custom hoists & rigs to maneuver the LED boards onto the roof and back over the edge. When officially lit for the July 4th opening ceremony, this LED system will become a landmark of the Philadelphia skyline for years to come.
